A real estate broker has taken to social media to explain why he got his license in the first place.
Real estate broker Anthony Gannon said he decided to take his license for a ‘very, very good reason’ after a ‘good deal of time and effort’ went into his education and training.
Anthony Gannon posted the story on Instagram, which was retweeted more than 1,000 times.
‘My real estate career is now officially on hold,’ he wrote.
I want to thank you all for the incredible support, patience and support I’ve been receiving from you.
This is my dream job and I’ve worked hard to achieve it.
It’s been a lot of work and I know I’ve done the right thing for myself, my family and our community.
However, he admitted it was a ‘sad day’ when he realised he wasn’t the only person getting a real estate license in New South Wales.
The Real Estate Board of NSW said the real estate market was recovering and there was a strong vacancy market in the state, but a lack of people to fill vacancies.
New South Wales Real Estate Agency chief executive, Geoff Dickson, said the agency was ‘thrilled’ to be able to work in the NSW market.
“We’re excited to be here in New Zealand,” he said.
We’ve had some issues in the past, but we’re excited that we can finally put our stamp on the market.
