Who are the RELA?
RELA is a national and international real estate licensing body.
It provides licensing, registration and verification for home owners, tenants and small businesses.
RELA was established by the Real Estate Commission of Australia (RECA) in 1991 to simplify the licensing process for small businesses, and is the first national organisation to set up the Real Property Licensing Service (RPLS) as a separate service.
The RPLS is operated by the National Real Estate Regulatory Agency (NRSRA).
