Vancouver, British Columbia – Scotiadores Real Estate agents across the region are planning to sell their homes and move on, a company said Monday.
Scotiadanks chief executive officer Steve Taylor said in a statement that it was clear to him that the company’s local real estate team had been told to “expect to sell the majority of its inventory.”
He said the company would be moving the vast majority of staff to its new Vancouver office, where it expects to be open by September 1.
Scribea has been under pressure to sell its Vancouver office since it said it expects a “significant” reduction in business in 2018 and 2019.
Taylor said the move would be voluntary, but it would not be possible to guarantee a permanent relocation.
Scribes management expects to sell an additional 20% of its assets, including office space and equipment, as part of a restructuring.
